The House is owned by the Secure Retirement Association (Headington) Ltd, which is a non-profit-making organisation, registered Society 22266R under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014. It is located near the centre of Headington, on the edge of Bury Knowle Park.

The House contains 26 flats: there is a good sense of community. There is a House Manager available Monday to Friday, who ensures the smooth running of the House and is employed by Millstream Management Services Ltd.. Flats vary in size and layout: some have one bedroom, some two and some are open plan studio flats.
There is a resident-run library, a laundry, a garage, and a large garden.
A Board of Management consisting of elected residents and some members co-opted from outside, chaired by one of the residents, is responsible for management decisions. There is also an Association Administrator who supports the Board and is employed by, Secure Retirement Association (Headington) Ltd.
The lease of a flat is for 20 years, which can be extended for a further period if needed.
